There is no service at Carhampton this Sunday as both halls are booked for the WW2 event. Next Sunday 29th May there is a Benefice Service at Dunster at 11 am as part of the Dunster festival and on Sunday 5th June there will be a Benefice Jubilee Songs of Praise at Wootton Courtenay at 11 am. Services for the remaining Sundays in June will continue as normal in the Village Hall.

The Jubilee weekend will be celebrated in Carhampton with a church JUBILEE COFFEE MORNING on Saturday 4th June from 10 am - 12 noon. All the usual things will be on offer as well as musical entertainment from Gadzukes Ukelele Players and you are invited to "wear a hat to greet the Queen" so come and join in the fun.

The Jubilee celebrations will continue on Sunday 5th June at the Recreation Ground with an afternoon of tea and games commencing at 2 pm. This is an event for everyone, there is no charge but donations would be welcome.

Looking forward do please book the 9th July for the Village Fete which will once again be taking place after a two year gap for covid. There will be lots of stalls and attractions as well as a display of arts and crafts by some of the local groups. Vaun Pike and I will be running the produce stall and all contributions of cakes, savouries or preserves will be welcome. Mave will once again be in the kitchen and will no doubt want some cakes to go with the teas. The church will be donating a hamper (wicker hamper already donated) so please could you provide something to go into the hamper, jams, biscuits, wine or any nice goodies that you can think of.
